Identifying the effective factors on improving the quality of training in professional technical centers
The main purpose of this study is to provide strategies to improve the quality of technical and vocational training in trainees' skills enhancement with a data theory approach. The present research is a basic research in terms of purpose and a qualitative research method in terms of method. Data collection tools included semi-structured interviews. The statistical population of the present study was experts in the field of technical and vocational education that targeted sampling method was used to select the sample. Theoretical sampling continued until the theoretical saturation point was reached. After conducting 8 interviews, the researcher recognized that the information collected had reached saturation point and no further interviews were required, but this process continued up to 12 interviews to ensure this. In the research process, first 107 open codes were identified and out of them, 27 selected codes and 7 axial codes were identified. In this study, the results obtained from coding include expert trainers, funding, efficient implementation of training programs, accurate planning, job creation, effective management and exploitation of external opportunities, which are effective factors in improving skills in vocational technical education. Then the final model of the research was drawn and the main causes, contextual factors, mediating factors, main category, strategies and consequences of training in vocational technical training were identified.
