Explaining and Examining Feminist Attitudes among Iranian Women in the Post-Islamic Revolution with a Quantitative Analysis Approach (Case Study of Isfahan Women)

By changing attitudes towards women during the Islamic Revolution, women were able to find a strong presence in the social and political arena. The present research method was an exploratory hybrid type that both qualitative and quantitative methods were used. In the qualitative section, the qualitative content analysis technique was used. The data collection tool was a semi-structured interview. The data analysis method was open triad, selective U axis. In the second part, the survey method was used. The statistical population of this section was all women over 18 years old in Isfahan, who were selected by random cluster sampling of 2000 people. Data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire based on the findings of the qualitative section. Data analysis was performed using multivariate regression and SPSS software. Findings from the qualitative section showed that among the women interviewed, four dominant feminist tendencies included Marxist, Islamic, radical, and liberal feminist attitudes. The results of the test also showed the hypotheses; Feminist attitudes have a positive effect on redefining social identity. . Feminist attitude has a positive effect on awareness of citizenship rights. Feminist attitudes have a positive effect on membership in socio-political groups and movements.
