A model for developing integrability in complex product and systems (CoPS) projects based on technology learning

The development of technology is known to be the driver of the economic progress of a country. Complex products, as capital goods, manufactured with advanced technology and multi-disciplinary methods, play a salient role in realizing this process. Because the mode of production is not mass production, the cost is high, the process is time-consuming and any error in the different phases of manufacturing has major consequences, the creation of technological capability resulting from the technological learning process, has a high priority in these products. In this article, by focusing on the national metro train, its technology learning path was investigated based on the operational steps taken along with the production of the complex product, so that a model for the development of the integration capability in the project can be constructed. The mixed methodology was selected to collect and analyze the data by using interpretive structural modeling and then, based on the findings, stratification was done and the degree of penetration and dependence of the components was determined. According to the presented model, it is expected that technology management and project management offices should play an effective role in the research goal.
