Comparison of the Effectiveness of Treatment based on Acceptance and Commitment with and without Self-Compassion, Conscious Attention to the Emotional Reactions of Women with Corona Anxiety and Insecure Attachment to their Spouses
People with psychological injuries, including anxiety caused by Corona, experience anxiety more and more by reducing the level of distress tolerance in stressful interpersonal relationships. Therefore, the aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy with and without self-compassion, conscious attention on the emotional reactions of women with corona anxiety and insecure attachment to their spouses with a two-month follow-up period.
This clinical trial study was conducted in 1400 on 48 female teachers of the second year of secondary school in Zahedan city. Women with corona anxiety who have an insecure attachment to their husbands were randomly selected between three groups of intervention 1 (16 people in treatment based on acceptance and commitment), intervention 2 (16 people in treatment based on acceptance and commitment with attention self-compassion) using a purposeful sampling method. informed) and the control group (16 people) were divided. The Corona Virus Anxiety Scale, Relationship Scales Questionnaire, Depression, Anxiety, Stress Scale (SSAD-21) and Extreme Emotional Reaction Scale - Short Form were used and the data were analyzed in SPSS statistical software version 26.
The results showed that the treatment based on acceptance and commitment combined with self-compassion and conscious attention, compared to the treatment based on acceptance and commitment and the control group, reduced depression, anxiety and stress (P<0.05) and its effects It has continued in the follow-up stage (P<0.05). Treatment based on acceptance and commitment has not been effective in reducing depression, anxiety and stress (P<0.05). Treatment based on acceptance and commitment combined with and without self-compassion of conscious attention has reduced negative emotional reactions (P<0.05) between the effectiveness of treatment based on acceptance and commitment combined with and without self-compassion of conscious attention compared to the control group. There is no significant difference in reducing emotional reactions (P<0.05). The effect of the treatment based on acceptance and commitment combined with self-compassion, conscious attention, unlike the treatment of acceptance and commitment, has continued in reducing emotional reactions in the follow-up phase (P<0.05).
Treatment based on acceptance and commitment combined with self-compassion, conscious attention as a sustainable intervention to improve emotional reactions can be used in health and treatment centers in women with corona anxiety and insecure attachment to their spouses.
