Parenting styles in "Qaboos Nameh" based on "Diana Baumrind's theory"

Qaboos Name, although it is the advice letter of the onsor al-Maali for his son; But it can be considered as an educational instruction and a source of scientific and accurate research to discover the methods and disciplinary styles of parenting preferred by the author. In this article, parenting styles based on Diana Baumrind's theory have been researched. The research is of a descriptive-analytical type and the method of collecting information is of a library type. The results show that although the tone and patriarchal thought of the author is evident in some chapters of the book; But the dominant disciplinary style in the book is the authoritative style. Also, the author considers the easy and permissive style as an unhealthy style in the field of parenting.
