Designing a leadership model for digital transformation in the education of Alborz University of Medical Sciences
It is one of the most important and challenging tasks of leaders in the current era, which has led to a change in the competitive landscape for today's organizations. Therefore, the aim of the research is to design a leadership model for digital transformation in education.
Qualitative section, 15 experts, including top academic professors in the field of educational management and senior managers of medical sciences, who were selected in a targeted way. The analysis of the qualitative part was done using the theme analysis method and MaxQuda software. In order to fit the designed model, structural equation modeling approach was used by PLS software. The quantitative statistical population included 430 managers, experts and employees of Alborz University of Medical Sciences, who were selected by stratified random method. The data collection tool was a questionnaire based on qualitative findings, whose validity and reliability were confirmed.
The qualitative part showed that 6 main themes including: digital transformation leadership, value creation, decision making, organization strategy, digital challenges, learning and 12 sub-themes were identified. In the quantitative part, it was also determined that there is a significant relationship between the leadership of digital transformation and the factors, and the designed model has an acceptable fit.
The leadership of digital transformation in education can help to improve the quality of education and improve the level of knowledge and ability of students.
