Components of Promoting a Sense of Place of Collective Spaces of the Internal Environments of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning (case study: University of Art)
With the slight expansion of the faculties of architecture and urban planning, its qualitative dimension has been neglected. On the other hand, several articles have dealt with the quality of education in the educational spaces of architecture schools, but there is not enough theoretical background about common spaces. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effective components in interior design that play a major role in promoting a sense of place and belonging of students in educational centers, and prioritize these factors to increase students' desire to attend educational spaces that increase the quality of education. The research method is applied-survey which has been done in three stages. First, review the library documents and select the components that form the place; In the second stage, these interdisciplinary factors were summarized by Delphi method from 15 specialists. In the next stage, a researcher-made questionnaire was made among 90 students of the University of Arts who were randomly selected. In this study, selective activity in the first layer and the perspective and formation of construction events in the second layer were among the highest priorities of the audience of collective spaces in the environment of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning. As a result of this study, which was the result of examining the priorities and importance of parameters related to the activity, physical and quality dimensions of collective spaces in the faculty, it was found that the sense of place is not limited to physical factors and physical factors along with effective factors Space for dynamic, lively and social activities will play a more effective role in promoting a sense of place in the collective spaces of the interior of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning.
