Analysis of barriers to green supply chain management with an interpretive structural modeling approach (Case study of hospitals and educational centers of Golestan province)

Many green supply chain management techniques have been used in recent years. But there are still obstacles to their widespread use. In the healthcare industry, the supply chain associated with pharmaceutical products is critical, Because it must create the highest standards of patient care and provide adequate storage for pharmacies. Therefore, it is necessary to manage this case carefully in order to achieve the service goals. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between barriers and identify the most effective barriers to green supply chain management of hospital services using interpretive structural modeling approach. The research method is of a mixed nature, Our statistical population is the experts of the members of the Green Hospital Planning Committee and the General Department of Environment of Golestan Province who have been selected by purposive sampling method. Barriers have been completed by the statistical community using interpretive-structural modeling questionnaire, And the relationships between obstacles have been identified And components were classified into four levels. The results show that barriers to lack of support from senior managers and lack of awareness of environmental effects have a greater impact on other components. And the obstacles to not creating a tangible competitive advantage due to the implementation of the green supply chain and the integration of IT systems are at the elementary level Also, dependent, independent and linked variables were identified.
