Abstract:

ISIS is a violent and radical group that has served as a revival of Islamic caliphate. A short-lived group that could spread and move from Syria to Iraq and occupy parts of Iraq. Eventually, the ISIS leader called himself the Muslim world caliph and called on all followers of other religions to follow them. The control of ISIS crisis in the region has brought about new developments, as many experts believe that the post-ISIS era will begin in the area shortly after the defeat of ISIS. Although ISIS's military defeat limits its operational capability, which, according to experts, will re-emerge as soon as the conditions are favorable. Although some of the regional and trans-regional powers utilizes ISIS as a means to advance their goals, and have provided a lot of financial and logistical support for this radical group over the past years. it should be said that this terrorist group is a social phenomenon that can be rebuilt in the future, without further elucidation and merely political encounter, can be reproduced more violently. So the main question is that, what geopolitical crises are emerged in post-ISIS era? In this line, the main hypothesis is that due to the importance of West Asia in terms of geopolitics and global economy, the remained regional consequences of defeating ISIS make some geopolitical changes in West Asia in Post-ISIS era.
