Study and categorization of the role of psychological operations techniques in the prevention and control of illegal gatherings in Northern Khorasan province

Urban unrest in any city can have important implications for the security of the community. The threats posed by urban unrest in society, if they are associated with the factor of impact on the vital values of society, may create security crises that require a specific mechanism of management that is appropriate to the nature of the crisis phenomena. Therefore, this research seeks to answer the question of how psychological techniques play a role in preventing and controlling illegal gatherings in the northern Khorasan province and how are they categorized? The method of this research is purpose-oriented, applied in terms of its nature and method, descriptive-survey. The statistical population of the study consisted of experts, elites, experts and officers of the Khorasan Provincial Police Command, who are involved in various sectors and specializations related to the prevention and control of illegal gatherings of mission and duty, which in total number is equal to 108 People were. The data were collected using a researcher-made questionnaire using semi-structured interview method. Data were analyzed by SPSS software and Pearson and regression tests were used. The results showed that social, cultural, economic and political methods are effective in preventing and controlling illegal gatherings.
