The relationship between life traps and irrational thoughts with job stress in the employees of Bojnord Police Command

Among the things that affect the performance and job stress of employees are life traps and irrational thoughts. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between life traps and irrational thoughts with job stress in the employees of Bojnord Police Command. The current research was correlation-prediction type. The statistical population of this research includes all employees of the police command. It was announced based on the statistics of 10,000 people. The research sample is based on Morgan table of 384 people who were selected based on available sampling method. The measurement tools in this research included: Young Life Traps Questionnaire - Short Form (1994), Jones Irrational Thoughts Questionnaire (1968) and Rice Job Stress Questionnaire (1992). The findings of the present research showed that between the traps of life; There is job stress and irrational thoughts of relationship employees. There is a relationship between irrational thoughts and job stress of employees.Key words: life traps, irrational thoughts, job stress.
