Modeling Parental Burnout based on Mother's Educational Attitudes Towards the Child with the Mediation of Self-Compassion in Parents of Students with Specific Learning Behavioral Disorder
The present study was conducted with the aim of modeling parental burnout based on the mother's educational attitudes towards the child with the mediation of self-compassion in the parents of students with special learning behavioral disorder. The purpose of applied research and its method was descriptive-correlation based on structural equations. The statistical population of the research consisted of all parents who have one or more children with specific learning behavioral disorder in Hamedan province in 1401-1400 who referred to special learning disorder treatment centers, and 305 people were selected through available sampling. were chosen. To collect data, parental burnout questionnaire (PBA), Baumrind's parenting methods and NF self-compassion questionnaire (SCS-SF) were used. Data analysis was done through structural modeling using amos software. The results showed that the mediator of self-compassion has a negative relationship between mother's educational attitudes towards the child and parental burnout. It can be concluded that by changing the mother's attitude towards parenting as the most important person in a child's life, the vicious cycle of parenting can be corrected. And mothers become unhappy.
