The Effect of Anger Management Training on Communication Skills and Happiness of Male Students the Sixth Grade of Elementary School in Masal City
This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of anger management training on the communication skills and happiness of sixth grade male students of Masal city. The research method was a semi-experimental type and a pre-test-post-test research design with a control group. The statistical population included all 6th grade male students of Masal city in the academic year of 2022-2023, their number was 348, from which a sample of 30 was selected using the available sampling method. In order to collect data, Oxford happiness questionnaires (1989) and Queen Dame communication skills (2004) were used. The experimental group was subjected to the intervention of Novakel and Spivak's (1975) anger management protocol for 8 sessions. Analysis of covariance statistical test was used to analyze the data. The findings showed that anger management training increased students' communication skills and Happiness (P<0.001). Based on the results of the present study, it can be concluded that the use of anger management training intervention is suitable for increasing communication skills and happiness in students.
