An analytical-descriptive reading on the reasons for immigration and its effect on the increase in crime; A case study of immigration to America
Various factors are involved in the emergence of social harms, but among the various factors, it can be said that the role of immigration in the expansion and creation of gaps and social harms seems to be more prominent. There is a close relationship between migration and marginalization, migrants migrate from villages to cities and settle in marginal areas. Low income, unusual jobs, unfamiliarity with the environment, unfavorable economic conditions in all dimensions attract rural migrants to marginal areas and around big cities. Migration from less developed countries to developed countries also sometimes faces such a situation. Even in the case of legal immigration, the discrimination between the immigrant and his native colleague in terms of income and the use of facilities and ancillary services of citizens is significant. The upcoming essay intends to analyze the reasons for immigration to investigate its impact on the increase in crime in the receiving country, and in the meantime, the United States, as one of the main destinations of immigrants, is considered a very suitable example for this study.
