The effectiveness of compassion therapy on the level of general health and emotional intelligence of addicts who are quitting in Shahrekord camp

Drug addiction is multifaceted or multifactorial and various psychological, social, cultural and genetic factors are involved in this field. This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the effectiveness of compassion therapy on the level of general health and emotional intelligence of drug addicts who are quitting in Shahrekord camp. The statistical population of the research included all drug addicts who are leaving Shahrekord camp, 30 people were selected as the research sample by voluntary sampling method. Then randomly in two groups of 15 people, they were tested and controlled, and the experimental group was exposed to the intervention. The data was collected using the questionnaire tool and analyzed in spss software. The results showed that there was a difference between the experimental group that underwent compassion therapy intervention and the control group that did not undergo the intervention in terms of general health (p<0.05; f=39/40) and emotional intelligence (p<0.05; f=43/23) there is a significant difference.
