The Role of Cultural and Psychological Capital in the Job Performance of Faraja Sports Coaches

The aim of this paper was to investigate the role of cultural and psychological capital in job performance among police sports coaches. The current research method is descriptive-correlation and in terms of purpose, it is applied. The sampling was done non-probability, voluntary, and available and it included 165 sports coaches in Tehran. They responded to the questionnaires of cultural capital, psychological capital, and job performance. In order to analyze the data, the structural equation model with the least squares technique was used. The evaluation of the external model was also confirmed based on the measured indicators, including the extracted average variance, composite reliability and Fornell and Larker criteria. The findings illustrated that cultural capital had an effect on job performance and psychological capital, and the effect of cultural capital on the job performance of police sports coaches was found to be significant. Furthermore, psychological capital partially mediated the relationship between cultural capital and job performance. In general, it can be asserted that the cultural capital and psychological capital of police sports coaches can have a significant effect on their job performance.
