Islamic University, an academic model; a study based on the experience of Imam Sadiq University (P.B.U.H)

After the Islamic revolution, the university also changed. One aspect of this evolution was the presentation of the Islamic university model. The experience of ISU (Imam Sadiq University) can be analyzed as one of the examples of Islamic Universities.

The research method is a historical analysis that examined the feasibility of ISU.

With the changing style and conventional academic patterns and the inevitable transformation of the Islamic University, it was necessary to determine the horizon of the transformation of the Islamic University in which the interaction with the needs of the society and the government is objective and tangible. The Islamic University was formed mostly in relation to the needs of the Islamic system, after which it must recreate itself in relation to the needs of the Islamic society.

The idea of an Islamic University, which was formed after the Islamic revolution to serve the university, requires a more serious interaction with the institution of science on the part of the Islamic university. In a situation, the Islamic University can think of solving some of these crises. as an academic model ISU can be a useful experience for higher education in Iran by pursuing a deeper interdisciplinary scientific atmosphere, whose main feature is commitment to society's issues.
