Investigating the role of social support in combating poverty in Razavi teachings

Considering the important role that social support has in the well-being of individuals and combating poverty in the society, in this study, using the descriptive –analytical method, the role of social support in the health and well-being of individuals, and especially combating poverty, is reviewed, and then the life of the Imam Reza in this area has been studied. The finding show that the subject of social support had a significant place in Razavi teachings and includes all types of social support (instrumental, emotional, informational, and spiritual) and has addressed maintaining human dignity, the duty of the recipient of social support , and the quality of teaching social support to children. Based on the findings, it is suggested that the precious teachings of Imam Reza be used in explaining the placement of social support in developing practical programs in combating poverty .
