Analysis of the relationship between place of residence, network social capital and social harms of young people (Study case: Youth of Khazane neighborhood of Tehran)

The aim of the research was to"analyze the relationship between residence, network social capital and social damages" which was carried out among young people aged18-29in Khazane neighborhood of Tehran.The theoretical framework was formed by combining the theories of Coleman, Putnam, Bourdieu, Lin, Fukuyama,Sutherland and Newman.The survey method, researcher-made questionnaire technique, was the statistical population of all young people(18-29 years old),which was extracted from the last census of 2015 of Iran Statistics Center.The sample size was determined based on Cochran's formula (384). Stratified sampling was based on sex.The study unit was a young boy or girl living in Khazaneh neighborhood. For reliability, a sample of30 questionnaires was implemented among the community and its Cronbach's alpha value was higher than0.70.Hypotheses were tested using path analysis using LESREL 8.8 software and mean comparison test and variance analysis using spss26 software.The results of the path analysis test showed that the structure of the place of residence in the dimension of physical, educational and health environment and the structure of the place of residence in the dimension of spending leisure time and comfort facilities have a significant relationship with network social capital, and with a probability of 99%, the structure of network social capital with damage There is a significant social relationship among young people living in Khazaneh neighborhood of Tehran.The results of the analysis of variance also confirmed the relationship between the number of years of living in the place,the area of the residential house,the number of rooms,educational-health and welfare facilities with social damages.
