Women's fundamental role in society can not be ignored. Women are the better half of the nation and about half of mankind includes woman.Their role in establishing the institution of family life, building home, raising the children, making an ideal family, and ideal society can not be overlooked. Her strength in totality contributes to social development. The position of the woman in any society isthe indicator of health of the society. If they are deprived from a healthy circumstances, their security will be at stake. Needless to say that as a result of its consequencesthe immediate family men and children as well as the society will suffer.Moreover while considering the causes of women's victimization, the present article also studies offences which arise out of violation against women. It also / proposes legal solutions to prevent woman victimization and finally to reduce offences or crime in society.
