Comparison of Rational Emotive Behavior Couple Individual and Conjoint Therapy for Reducing Family Conflict in Couples Referred to Ahvaz Counsel Centers for Problem Disclosure

The research was conducted to investigate the Comparison of Rational Emotive Behavior Couple individual and conjoint Therapy on marital conflicts in couples referred to Ahvaz Counsel Centers for Problem Disclosure. The population included and couples referred to this counsel. The sample consisted of couples (from couples) who were selected randomly for this study. In this study the individual and conjoint couple Therapy are considered the independent variable and marital conflicts as dependent variable The instrument was used Marital Conflict Questionnaire. The design of this study was pretest-post test with control group. All subjects answered scale, and then the experimental groups received intervention (during sessions). At post test stage groups answered the scales again. Descriptive and inferential statistic methods including one-way ANOVA, and (HSD) Tukey were used. Porbable error of = was used to find the significance of the differences. The results of this study showed that individual and conjoint methods reduces the marital conflict among cuples in the experimental groups. Total marital conflicts, Sexual relationship and financial instruct were reduced more by individual method. Aplication of individual and conjoint methods had no significal difference on reduction of other sub scales.
