Anatomical studies of leaves of Platanus orientalis in polluted areas of Tehran and clean areas Nahar Khoran Gorgan and pardisan

Leaves of Platanus orientalis were collected from several polluted areas of Tehran (villa, Azadi, Pardisan, Tajrish, Golhak) anunpolluted areas (Nahar khoran Gorgan، Pardisan 83) Anatomical studies shows midrib of leaf blade from Nahar khoran develop more than similar midrib from different areas of Tehran. Number of stomata of lower surface from Nahar khoran show significant reduction to some polluted area of Tehran (Azadi, Pardisan). And these numbers in pardisan83 show signi ficant reduction to all polluted area of T ehranLower epidermal cells of abaxial surface from Nahar khoranare and pardisan 83 arelonger than all of areas of Tehran. Paranchymatous cells in midrib of leaf and pallisad have not difference in all of areas. Number of stomata of lower surface from Nahar khoran show significant reduction to some polluted area of Tehran (Azadi, Pardisan). And these numbers in pardisan83 show signi ficant reduction to all polluted area of T ehran
