Imam Khomeini Commentary Methodology and Its Situation Among Fariqayn Commentary Method

Imam Khomeini (May his soul rest at peace) not only enjoys comments on politics and fiqh, he also enjoyed a very good command of comment, of which we can refer to his comment on Surah Al-Hamd.The present essay aims at studying the methodology of Imam Khomeini's comments concluding the fact that he has takan advantages of different methods of comment such as Quran-to-Quran, narrative, reasoning, indexical, scientific and fiqh methods. Moreover, large numbers of examples are presented. After an expanded discussion of the afore-mentioned methods, the writer comes to the conclusion that Imam Khomeini has refrained from commenting [interpreting] solely on his own, rather he has presented an especial viewpoint in this regard.
