A Model for The Measurement of Productivity in the Public Sector of Iran
Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to design a model for measuring productivity in the Public sector. To this end both effectiveness and efficiency are considered. The measurement of effectiveness focus on four dimention; service delivering to client, citizen satisfaction, improvement of society?s conditions and undesired outcomes of service delivery. We used Delphi methods to define the effectiveness and efficiency indicators. In order to select experts, Snow ball sampling was applied. AHP method was conducted to determind importance factors and priority of each indicators. The model was tested in three public organization; hospitals, banks and police stations. Finally the last model was designed by four section combination and separation of public and special indicators. Definding of the research suggest that the model could be used in different interval of future.
