The New Generation of Realists in International Relations

Abstract:
After the WWII the realist course achieved a position in international relations that soon considered not only as a theory but also as a model of thought or a paradigm for international relations and developed to be the prevailing thought in academic circles.Realism was considered very simply as the study of specific concepts and issues such as politics of power, war or order in the world politics. But nowadays there isn’t such an approach toward realism and realism is known as only one of the different theories in international relations arena. The criticisms of several theoricians specially the liberalists andneo-liberalists have led to some adjustments in realism. And now some of the members of the new generation of realists try to be more isotropic with liberalist concepts and meanwhile preserving the main and basic concepts of their primary school of thought.
