Abstract:
The U.S. took her first steps to enter Iran in the Fath`ali Shah era through dispatching religious missioners. These missioners helped dramatically to Iranian people in different fields such as social, medical and educational services and could find a special position among the Iranian nation in spite of the colonial competitions between the britishand russian superpowers. But with the passage of time and until the 28th Mordad coup in 1332, the U.S. discovered the strategic position and natural resources of Iran and tried to increase her share from them. Finally Imam Khomeini (p) with the assistance of the Iranian nation ended the Pahlavi era in 22th Bahman, 1357 and made some problemsfor the U.S. in this region of world. Therefore the U.S. tried to reestablish the previous situation through using different interfering acts but faced with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s reaction in the framework of specific behavioral models which will be considered in this article.
