The Manifestation of Positive Romanticism in the Works of Sohrab Sepehri and Ilyia Abu Mazi

The school of romanticism has portrayed two faces in the contemporary literature: a black and stern face, which is due to the poet’s pessimistic attitude to life, and a smiling and happy face, which announces a better life for the writer/poet and the society.In the second group, Ilya Abu Mazi, a typical optimistic contemporary Arab poet, can be compared with Sohrab Sepehri, the symbol of a Persian-speaking optimistic poet.By juxtaposing the optimistic poems of the two poets, this article tries to show the sensitive role of literature in the society and to explicate their mission in spreading elevated positive ideas.
