Background and the route of writing Mecca and Medina knowledge

Abstract:
One of important branches of Quranic sciences and the preliminaries of Quran commentary is the knowledge of recognizing Mecca and Medina verses. Its foundation must be found in the Early Islamic Era. This knowledge appeared as an extensive one and merely in the form of traditions and news and was presented such as brief thesis, commentary, and superiority of Quran, abrogating and abrogated books in the 2nd century. After that, it was bloomed by advent of Quranic collections and gradually the range of traditional discussions and then its theoretical ones were developed in the 5th century. Discussing the route of writing Mecca and Medina knowledge indicates that Mecca and Medina discussion outline in 8 types of books as a historical turn which are as follows; 1.In the early monographs, 2.In the commentary books (at first in the early of commentary of Holy Quran verses and then in the introduction of commentary were discussed), 3.In the superiority of Quran's books, 4.In the abrogating and abrogated books, 5.In the number of verse's books, 6.Among chapters of Quranic science's books, 7.In the Quran history books, 8.In the contemporary monographs.
