Surveying Various Types of Family Supporting Insurance Sayyed Mohammad Sadegh Tabatabaei (Ph.D.) University of Isfahan

Life, health, and properties of people are always exposed to happenings and losses. Insurance is one of necessities of urbanism’ life (city living). Since, the family is considered as one of social’s system and is recognized as the most important social structure, the necessity of insurance for supporting the family and its members is required. Nowadays, preparing the trousseau, paying the marriage portion, and the women status after divorce are the basic families concern. The family insurances such as trousseau, marriage portion, and divorce insurances are kinds of life insurances, and they are designed to support women. However, these types of insurances are unknown among the various classes of societies and families. The present study considers surveying and criticizing each of aforementioned insurances.
