Supplier Evaluation & Selection Approach along the Supply Chain via Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process Weighted Fuzzy Multiple- Objective Linear Programming (The Case Study of Bahman Motor Center)
In the recent decade, the method of supplying required raw materials and selection of suppliers along the supply chain has been a challenge for many organizations. Because of the fundamental impact of the supplier performance on the success or failure of any supply chain the selection of supplier is considered as a strategic task. Therefore, this research, which was conducted in Bahman Motor Center, aims at selecting the best supplier while identifying the important criteria in selection of suppliers and determining the importance degree of each criterion from the expert`s viewpoint. Hence, in this model main criteria supplier selection were determined upon the expert`s judgment. Afterwards, by using the fuzzy AHP based on extent analysis method, the degree of importance for each criterion and the score of each supplier in compare to each criterion was specified by experts. In this approach, in order to maximize the supplier`s performance in relation to each criterion as many objective functions were considered as criteria. The coefficient rate of the variables in objective functions was considered the same supplier`s scores in each criterion. For solving this model, the linear membership functions were defined for each objective function and by using weighted additive method the model was converted in to single-objective and crisp (non-fuzzy) and also by using LINGO 8.0 software, the mentioned model were applied for one parts of Bahman Motor Center and eventually the superior supplier was selected.
