The Foundations and Principles of the Islamic Political Economy Meta-theory

According to the “Islamic Political Economy Meta-theory" for which we would suggest a formulation in this article, ultimate aims of Islam is pursued through the clarification of the interaction between Politics and Economics in Islam. Emphasizing the enhancement of the efficiency of political and economic objectives, both of which serving human spiritual integrity i.e. Islamic culture, the Islamic Political Economy Meta-theory is clarified in three levels: 1- Beliefs; 2- Spiritual and Human Values; and 3- Justice and development. Posing our research question, “How the fundamentals of the Islamic Political Economy Meta-theory are clarified?”, this article would discuss and prove the fact that the Islamic political economy links systematically to Economy, Politics and Culture, recognizing which is comprehensible in a general and harmonious system, to the extent that it is a mean to advance ultimate aims of Islam i.e. the attainment to the stage of human integrity and spiritual values, besides enhancing the political and economic efficiency. Hence, emphasizing the ontological and epistemological aspects of Politics and Economics and their interrelation in Islam, this article would suggest "the Islamic Political Economy Meta-theory" formula.
