Study on the Main Effective Elements for Prediction of the Accident Model at Intersections and Urban Roads

Traffic accidents are random events which are caused as a result of factors such as driver’s behavior, road characteristics, and vehicle deficiencies. As a consequence, human life and physical losses are being imposed on the society every year. To prevent these accidents, one major solution seems to be the reduction of the effect of different factors and establishing a relation between them and the accidents which are being done mostly through statistical modeling and the rights use of appropriate elements play a key role. In this paper, based on previous studies, the main elements of this method are investigated and appropriate parameters for roads and urban intersections are recommended.
