A study of the perceptions of faculty members of Islamic Azad University about the impact of in-service training on educational quality of universities

The main purpose of this research was to study the perceptions of faculty members of Islamic Azad University about the impact of in-service training، which designed and performed by the office of studying and education of human resources، on educational quality of universities. The population for the study was 2491 faculty members of Islamic Azad University – zone one and using Kirgizia and Morgan statistical tables 335 person selected by stratified – cluster random sampling method. The research method was descriptive and a researcher designed questionnaire based on Likert scale with appropriate validity and reliability (Chronbach alpha =0. 86) was used to conduct this research. Mean and standard deviation as well as T -test for independent groups، on-way ANOVA and Tukey test were used to analyze the collected data. Based on research findings، in-service trainings will increase scientific abilities، better understanding of students needs، and better using of educational facilities، developing required scientific contents، improving teaching functions of faculty members and improved reliability to universities.
