Harms and consequences of dogmatism

In this paper, the writer discusses instances of superstitions and dogmas practiced by Muslim reactionaries in the course of history. They stick to appearances at the price of truth; they do not exercise their mental faculties to reach at the truths of religion, they fight rationalism and spread excessive religious practice, they martyr true Muslims or force them into exile; they represent a reactionary image of Islam, and distort the images of the Prophet and the Imams. The writer mentions Akhbarigari as an instance of dogmatism, which has resulted in many innocent deaths in the course of history.
