Resistance in the Poem of Toufiq Amin Zayyad

Undoubtedly, nowadays resistance literature has a special position among nations. This literature is the reflection of the shout of the oppressed which is pictured by a pained expression of the worried poets to reveal the resistance of the oppressed people who suffered cruelty and tyranny. Toufiq Zayyad is a Palestinian contemporary poet who tried to be a representative of all the oppressed nations in his poems. From his viewpoint, the Palestinians are the symbols and representative of all these nations. This paper tried to investigate the poet’s view about resistance based on his poems and verses.
