    The eye has many barriers with specific anatomies that make it difficult to deliver drugs to targeted ocular tissues, and topical administration using eye drops or ointments usually needs multiple instillations to maintain the drugs’ therapeutic concentration because of their low bioavailability. A drug-eluting contact lens is one of the more promising platforms for controllable ocular drug delivery, and, among various manufacturing methods for drug-eluting contact lenses, incorporation of novel polymeric vehicles with versatile features makes it possible to deliver the drugs in a sustained and extended manner. Contact lenses for ophthalmic drug delivery have become very popular, due to their unique advantages like extended wear and more than 50% bioavailability. To achieve controlled and sustained drug delivery from contact lenses, researchers are working on various systems like polymeric nanoparticles, etc. This article reveals the recent achievements in the field of alternative drug delivery in ophthalmology to treat glaucoma combined with myopia. During in vitro experiments it was demonstrated that lossless and prolonged drug delivery is feasible if soft contact lenses of various materials are utilized as drug carriers. However, among two studied model solutions, only one of them passed all drug release tests with all five types soft contact lenses materials.

    This study explores the unique characteristics and parameters used in intellectual systems for drug delivery. Todays, the most widely used category of intelligent systems are expert systems that are computer systems capable of partially replacing a highly trained professional in his/her area of expertise by means of information previously gained by the experts. That is why expert systems are agreed to be viewed along with information bases, which are models of the actions of experts in a particular area, and logical assumptions are extended to decision-making procedures. The application field of expert systems is absolutely unlimited. A vivid example is their use in diagnostic tasks of modern medicine. Following a brief discussion of the basic mechanics underlying electrospinning, a thorough discussion of the parameters that can impact the mechanism and the nature of their effect was given. Data revealed that SPC Methodology was an efficient and effective mean to automate the monitoring of expert system rule behavior and other process measures that were important for expert system performance.

    The present study reports the determination of the Fe3O4 nanoparticle based carnosine and taurine enzymes. The aim of the study was to develop a methodology that allows the determination of amino acids by HPLC in their joint presence in eye drops. In the result a method has been developed for the simultaneous quantitative determination of the components of eye drops (carnosine and taurine) by HPLC with preliminary preparation of dinitrophenyl (DNP) derivatives. This method has been validated for specificity, accuracy, precision, linearity, and analytical range, ranging from 80% to 120% of nominal. Nanotechnology is one of the quick rising areas of progressing technology, thus being a source of prospect for medicine and pharmacy. It is approved that, exactly metal oxides designed as nanoparticles will be used to soak medical devices and clothes, to fight viruses and bacteria, in new drug delivery systems or cancer therapy. For the medicinal science to completely profit from the new nanotechnology accomplishments, it is serious to determine the nanoparticles penetration mechanisms into the cells, their action inside the cells, the accumulation degree in various organs of living organisms. It has been cleared that numerous efforts at elucidating the biocompatibility of nano alumina for animals and humans.
