Multilayer graphene was synthesized by chemical vapor deposition from mixture of naphthalene/ methanol with ratios (1.5 g: 100 m L) respectively at ambient pressure and nitrogen as carrier gas with two different flow at 700 °C. The active sites for growth was Ferrocene with thickness reach to125 μm. The product was characterized by Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and Energy Dispersive X-Ray Analysis. The analysis shows that high flow of carrier gas (250 cm3/min) was succeeded to produce graphene multilayers while the ether (100 cm3/min) witnessed many tubular structure in addition to graphene layers.

The essential trace elements were very significant for the life of humans, and the imbalance in blood serum lead to so serious diseases. In this study, zinc (Zn) has been measured in the serum of  2005 samples (1305 male and 700 female) apparently healthy Iraqi persons aged 20-70 years using a flame atomic absorption spectrophotometer (FAAS). The mean concentration of Zn was (0.96 – 1.12 mg ml-1) in males and slightly lower (0.8 – 1.02 mg ml-1) in females. The concentration of Zinc was slightly increased by age, especially in the groups of 31-40 years, and slightly reduced in the group of 51-61 years. The concentration of zinc in all groups of the study seems to be stable. The study showed that there is a deficiency in Zn value (Zn concentration below 0.5 mg ml-1) in the male and females healthy populations by 22.9% and 18.85%, respectively.

Titanium dioxide Hombickat UV100 was used as semiconductor for hydrogen production reaction without and with modification by 0.5% single walled carbon nanotubes SWCNTs and platinum Pt. the modification includes synthesize binary composites with SWCNTs by sonochemical addition while with Pt was accrued by photo deposition method. Structural properties and morphology of the synthesized materials SWCNT/UV100, UV100: Pt and ternary composites SWCNT/UV100: Pt with pristine UV100 were characterized by x-ray diffraction, UV-visible diffraction and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy FTIR. The results showed that SWCNTs reduce the activities of UV100 in producing H2 from solution 10% MeOH/H2O while in the ternary composites SWCNT/UV100: Pt the SWCNTs play very important roles in increase the activity of UV100 with Pt to more than 20%. The role of SWCNTs was related to dispersion Pt with less agglomerates as compare with UV100: Pt and that create more active cites on the surface of UV100-TiO2.UV100 with Pt to more than 20%. The world is looking for clean, renewable and cheap energy. For a long time, researchers have been trying to find materials to achieve this goal. The discovery of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) has opened new horizons in the field of their uses in the field of solar energy. The chemistry of carbon nanotubes involves chemical reactions that are used to change the properties of carbon nanotubes (CNTs). To attain desired properties that can be used in a wide range of applications, CNTs can be functionalized. Covalent and non-covalent modifications are the two primary types of CNT functionalization. This review focuses on how to use the synthesized CNTs by flame fragments deposition (FFD) technique, which is an easy and cheap method in which CNTs can be prepared at lower temperatures compared with other traditional techniques, in preparing CNTs composites in solar cell components to improve charge conduction, electrode flexibility and acting as active light absorbing materials.
