This research aims to investigate the potential for reutilizing utopian cities like the Farabian Virtuous City based on the requirements and capabilities of modernity. The study's primary question is whether these utopian cities retain their utopian potential despite the profound transformations of modernity or if their utopian effectiveness can be reinstated through changes. The reinterpretation of these utopian cities is pivotal for aligning vast political, cultural, social, economic, and religious systems toward Islamic goals and ideals. In this study, utilizing the dialectical method, the Farabian Virtuous City is scrutinized in two dimensions: requirements and consequences, based on the principles of modernity. Subsequently, employing the content analysis approach, the comprehensive theme of the "Social Trust System" is extracted as the primary approach in the modernization of the Farabian Virtuous City. The following steps were taken in the process: (a) designing matrices of requirements and consequences, (b) extracting and refining concepts and consequence propositions in the consequence matrix (38 propositions as basic statements), (c) extracting and refining requirements (27 requirements as basic statements), (d) extracting six organizing concepts, (e) extracting the comprehensive theme. According to Farabi's teachings regarding the utopian city, the primary foundation for realizing the utopian city is justice. The central axis of social justice is the government of the virtuous or the wise. The wise should be trained from the beginning or selected from individuals who have previously attained this level of virtue. In either case, a system is needed to record and retrieve their performance and capabilities, which can be realized in the "Social Trust System." By establishing the social trust system in the Farabian Virtuous City, as the achievement of this research, a platform for public oversight of functions and a framework for social justice is provided, enhancing productivity and satisfaction in a mutually reinforcing manner.

The modernization of hadith means the discovery of a universal criterion from the way of life of the infallibles to follow the example of all believers. In addition to the infallibles, the manners of those whose behavior is approved by the infallibles can also be useful in the matter of modernization. Abu Talib as a great supporter of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), while maintaining his pre-Islamic position, played an important role in the formation and continuation of Islamic society. Despite the lack of faith behavior, his actions have been confirmed by the Prophet and the Imams (AS) and they have explicitly addressed the faith of Abu Talib. Hence, the main issue of the article is whether the modernization of Abu Talib's biography can provide a model and standard for modern believers? Carrying out a historical investigation about the existing reports of Abu Talib's life in support of the Prophet and based on the Imams confirmations of Abu Talib's behaviors, this research has proven that using an ultra-time and space criterion of modernization, it is possible to model Abu Talib's conduct with respect to the day's needs.

To model oneself on the Prophet (s.a.w.) is not always an easy task; at times due to historical limitations it becomes difficult to follow in his footsteps. In such conditions one should consider what the modern age requires and should modernize the Prophet’s behaviors according to the present culture; a case that will not occur by reliance upon the appearance of the texts dealing with the Prophet’s conduct and life story (sīrah), and is in need of defining the fundamentals and basic beliefs. The present article attempts to explain the fundamentals and the effective presumptions for modernization of the Prophet’s acts, and this way it paves the way for benefiting from this sort of the Prophet’s acts and to makes it possible to broaden the scope of the instances of the Prophetic conduct (sīrah nabawiyyah). The results gained from this study show that by accepting the five basic fundamentals that have been achieved through an analytical-exploratory method, it becomes possible to analyze the Prophet’s acts in a modern way, and that his behavior and conducts can be updated according to the modern cultural and environmental atmosphere.

The actions of the Prophet are shaped by the atmosphere of his existence period and must be realized based on the culture of that period. Therefore, given the conditions and requirements of the time change and the general culture and beliefs change, the prophet's behaviors should be modernized based on the features of the time and the custom of the audience. Modernization is not realized by having a glimpse on the texts and behavior of the Prophet. The problem to be investigated in this study is how to analyze the actions and behaviors of the Prophet so that given the situation changes, such a behavior is traceable. By analyzing some behavioral instance of the Prophet and carrying out an analytical-exploratory research, this article showed that by following a five-step process as follows, one may analyze the Prophet's modernized actions: the feasibility for relying on Prophet's act, assuring historical limitations in the Prophet's actions, recognizing the variable teaching in the Prophet's actions, discovering The purpose behind the Prophet's action, and finally reconstructing the Prophet's action. Thus his actions are modernized according to day's cultural conditions.

The expansion of Modern institutions and their active role in the human life has caused penetration of modernism consequences into diverse aspects of modern human life. One of the modern institutions is university and one of the personal dimensions, which has been subject to change, is pious attitude. The aim of this paper is understanding how religious identity of youths is affected by university climate. In this research, the theory of Peter Berger and the method of discursive psychology, complemented by the client-centered method, have been used and deep interviews were made with 13 students and five non-students. After analyzing the transcription of interviews and three levels descriptive, interpretive and explanative coding of data, the results show that despite influence of the university on expansion of student's world lives and strengthening of their questioning spirit, the quality of making use of this potential and reading of data depends on pre-university backgrounds and internal desires of the students.
