    A novel biopolymeric hydrogels have been synthesized by two step process using trans aconitic acid, ethylene glycol and glutamic acid without a cross linker by organic solventless approach with different monomer ratios in a eco friendly manner. The nature of bonding and structural identification of biopolymeri hydrogels were characterized by analytical techniques like FT-IR. The hydrogel shows a pH sensitive swelling behaviour with increased swelling in acidic media followed by gradual decreased in basic media. The thermogram (TGA) of the hydrogel shows two stage of degradation. The obtained hydrogels were also subjected to antibacterial activity against gram positive S.aureus and gram negative E.Coli by using zone inhibition method, and antioxidant activity by DPPH radical assay at different concentration compared with the standard Ascorbic acid and anticancer activity by MTT assay using HT29 colan cancer cell line. The results exhibit excellent antibacterial, antioxidant and anticancer property with respect to their standards respectively.

    A series of 20 compounds isolated from some pyrazole derivatives were subjected to cytotoxicity test against HIV–1. Two statistical approaches namely: Genetic Function Algorithm (GFA) and Multi Linear Regression Analysis (MLRA) were effectively used. Best three descriptors which are: VR2_Dzv, VR1_Dzp and PubchemFP824 were selected for the Quantitative structural and activity relationship (QSAR) using the two aforementioned statistical approaches. The results obtained were as follows: R-squared (R2) of 0.9698, adjusted squared (R2adj) of 0.9607, cross validated R-squared (LOO- Q2cv) value of 0.9299 and external prediction ability (R2pred) of 0.6827. The result proved that the compounds are attractive platform and clinically viable for developing anti HIV-1 drugs. Multivariate statistics with chemical descriptors molecular shape and polarizability may be useful for the evaluation of cytotoxicity of pyrazole.

    A selected solid complex of the Schiff base ligand derived from Glutaric anhydride with Cu(II) ion was synthesized and characterized by FT-IR, Electronic, ESR Spectral Analyses, Magnetic susceptibility and Molar Conductance Measurements. The disappearance of ν(O-H) hydroxyl band of the phenolic and the lowering shift of the stretching frequency of the ν(CH=N) azomethine band in the ligand after complexation, indicated the coordination through the phenolic oxygen atom (after deprotonation) and azomethine nitrogen atom respectively of the Schiff base ligand. The lower values of molar conductance indicate the non-electrolytic nature of these complex. The ESR spectrum of the Copper complex has octahedral geometry. The Schiff base ligand and its complex further identified by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, SEM, EDX and molecular docking study.The anticancer potential of the Copper (II) complex was determined against A549 lung cancer cells, they exhibited appreciable anticancer activity. The in vitro cytotoxicity of the complex was examined against cancer cell line by MTT assay.The Schiff base Cu (II) complex was tested its cytotoxicity and found that the 50 percentage of activity inhibitory concentration (IC50) value around 91.25 percentage in 7.8 μg/ml.
