In the present study, a simple and rapid method using an effective heterogeneous nanomagnetic catalyst, Fe3O4@SiO2-SO3H, was used to prepare the 2-arylbenzoxazoles derivatives by a condensation reaction of aromatic aldehydes with 2-aminophenol without using solvent and at a temperature of 50 0C. This catalyst is magnetically recycled and reused several times without reducing its catalytic activity. It was demonstrated that Fe3O4@SiO2-SO3H is an economic catalyst that can be used several times without reducing the catalytic properties. In this investigation, an efficient nanomagnetic heterogeneous catalyst, Fe3O4@SiO2@ (CH2)3-en-SO3H/H2SO4 for the synthesis of 2-arylbenzoxazoles by the cyclocondensation reaction of aromatic aldehydes with 2-aminophenol under solvent-free conditions. Catalyst of Fe3O4@SiO2@ (CH2)3-en-SO3H/H2SO4, was synthesized by the immobilization of sulfonated ethylenediamine on the silica-supported magnetic nanoparticles. The catalyst can be recycled magnetically and can be reused several times without a significant decrease in the activity of the catalyst. The present method has several advantages such as excellent efficiency, convenient purification, mild reaction conditions, easy operation and short reaction time. Also nanomagnetic heterogeneous catalyst is found to be an economical, and reusable catalyst with low catalytic loading, a suitable catalyst, stable in air and humidity, heterogeneous and green catalytic.

CdO nanoparticles efficiently catalyzes the condensation of aromatic aldehydes with 2-aminophenol at room temperature to afford 2-aryl benzoxazole derivatives by grinding method. The reactions proceed under heterogeneous and mild conditions to provide 2-aryl benzoxazoles in excellent yields (87-97 %) with high purity under solvent free condition. The reaction requires short time (5-23 minutes) under moderate conditions. The purification of products by non-chromatographic methods is additional feature of this method. A series of 2-aryl bezoxazole have been successfully synthesized by this method. Ease of recycled catalyst, cleaner process, solvent free and lower catalytic loading are the most advantages of the proposed method.Keywords: Nano, catalyst, Benzoxazole derivatives, CdO nanoparticles, Grinding method, Solvent free
