We plan to study the synthesis of Zn2SnO4 nanoparticles via a sol-gel method and evaluate their catalytic activity in the three-component reaction including active enolates, active methylene, and aldehydes leading to the formation of the pyran derivatives. Functionalized pyrano[3,2-c]chromenes and pyrano[4,3-b]pyran derivatives were synthesized via a one-pot, a three-component reaction under ultrasonic irradiation conditions in good to excellent yields. The catalyst was characterized by XRD, FESEM and TEM analyses.

Scientia Iranica, Volume:25 Issue: 6, Nov - Dec 2018, PP 3295 -3304In this research article, ionic liquid modified SBA-15 mesoporous material (SBA-IL) as a recyclable, heterogeneous catalyst efficiently catalyzed the synthesis of pyranonaphthoquinone-fused spirooxindoles through the one-pot three-component reaction of isatin derivatives, activated methylene reagents, and 2-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone. The reactions were performed under microwave irradiation and solvent-free conditions. The synthesized SBA-IL was characterized by SEM, FT-IR, nitrogen adsorption-desorption, and thermogravimetric analyses. Excellent chemical yields, short reaction times, mild reaction condition, easy workup procedures and reusability of catalyst are noteworthy advantages of this protocol.Keywords: SBA-IL, Multicomponent reaction, Spirooxindole, Isatin, Mesoporous silica, Heterogeneous catalyst}

Fe3O4@SiO2-SO3H nanocatalysthas been used as an efficient catalyst for the preparation of pyrazolopyridines by a multicomponent reaction of ethyl acetoacetate, an aldehyde, hydrazine hydrate and ammonium acetateunder microwave irradiation. Atom economy, wide range of products, excellent yields in short times,using of microwave as green method, reusability of the catalyst and little catalyst loading are some of the important features of this protocol.Keywords: Fe3O4@SiO2, SO3H, Pyrazolopyridines, Nanocatayst, Multicomponent reaction}

SBA-Pr-SO3H was used as green and recyclable catalyst for the synthesis of dihydropyrdo[2,3-d]pyrimidine derivatives by three component one-pot reaction between 6-amino-1,3-dimethyl uracil, aromatic aldehydes and 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds under reflux conditions.
