Therefore, the administration of the COVID-19 vaccine has been approved worldwide. The purpose of this review is to describe the current status and quality of COVID-19 vaccines.
MethodsIn this study, the history and sampling of people injecting vaccines with different platforms at different ages in one year were done to measure the neutralizing antibody titer by ELISA method. The results were analyzed using the ANOVA method, and the significance level of P < 0.01 was determined.
Findings168 people (109 women and 59 men) with an average age of 40.4 ± 16 years (minimum 18 and maximum 90) participated in the study. The time between vaccination and sampling was 6.7 ± 6.5 (minimum 0.5 and maximum 32) months. Most participants were in the age groups of 21-30 years, and people aged 81-90 were the minimum in the study. No significant relationship between age and antibody response was observed. Sinopharm vaccine had the highest number of injections (80 people), and Barkat vaccine had the lowest number (13 people). Despite significant differences in average antibody levels, all vaccines effectively produced neutralizing antibodies, and high antibody titers could be measured for a long time.
ConclusionData on vaccine antibody persistence, including potential booster doses or changes in vaccine formulations, are emphasized. Understanding how these vaccines work in producing protective antibodies is influential in evaluating their effectiveness.

BackgroundScorpion sting is one of the medical health problems in tropical and subtropical regions of Iran. This study deals with the frequency of complications of scorpion sting, in patients referred to Afzalipour Hospital in Kerman.MethodsThis retrospective descriptive-analytical study was performed using the census sampling method of patients, who referred to Afzalipour Hospital in Kerman following scorpion sting. The statistical population included all patients from 2016 to 2018. After collecting and extracting the data, the results were analyzed by SPSS software.ResultsA total of 111 stings were reported, 61 females (55%) and 49 males (45%). Local signs included pain (55), swelling (15.3), erythema (21.6), skin ecchymosis (18.9), tenderness (10.8), and bleeding (1.8%). Systemic symptoms included nausea and vomiting (9), pain (1.8), numbness and paresthesia (3.6), weakness (9) and (86.5) without systemic symptoms. The average number of hospitalization days was 1.77.ConclusionClinical manifestations of patients show that species belonging to two families, Buthidae and Hemiscorpidae, are the cause of stings in this province. Stings has been more common in women and in the age group of 21 to 40 years old and more in July. Due to different species with neurotoxic and hemotoxic poison, the development of treatment protocols by trained physicians, who are familiar with clinical manifestations of these arthropods, are essential. Keywords: Scorpion sting, Pain, Burning, Swelling, clinical complications

Ionization radiation caused to incidence of complications in the exposed organs. In prostate radiotherapy, rectum and bladder have been radiated unwantedly and indicated some complications during and after treatment. The purpose of present study is to consider and to compare clinical complications of rectum and bladder in custom block and MLC for 3- D conformal radiotherapy, in order to determine if both treatments differ with respect to creating radiation protection, subsequently in the incidence of complications. In this respect, 72 patients with prostate cancer classified into two arms, above 60 years without the history of previous radiotherapy, hormone therapy and surgery, were selected randomly in October 2014. In one arm, patients were treated with block 3- D conformal radiotherapy, and in second arm with MLC outbound technique for 3- D radiotherapy. Rectal and bladder clinical complications were recorded before, during (at the end of 10 treatment sessions), 3 and 6 months after treatment then compared based on tables (RTOG/ LENT).Obtained results showed that patients had a significant difference in such complications as urinary frequency after 10 treatment sessions, 3 months after treatment (pKeywords: clinical complications, conformal radiotherapy, prostate cancer
