Homogeneity from Mowlana's Point of View
Author(s):
Abstract:
Homogeneity means to be of the same type (genus). Mowlana has used it in his works to prove mystic issues. He believes that genus is based on internal affairs and main features, not on form. According to him, opposition is also a kind of homogeneity. Movement and development in worldly phenomena indicate an imperfection; phenomena move toward perfection. He believes that attraction and appeal can be direct or indirect. There is also a third factor to create the motivation for attraction and appeal. Mowlavi regards prophets and their followers to be of an angelic type and non-believers to be of a satanic type.
