Study of Felder and slomon Psychometric Properties Questionnaire of learning styles

Abstract:
The Purpose of present research was to examine factor reliability and validity of learning styles questionnaire that was developed by felder and Solomon (1996)، based on silverman model (1988). Population of study were all girls'' students at third grade in Tehran guidance schools among them 450 were selected as sample using multiple cluster sampling. Research instrument was felder and Solomon learning styles questionnaire which its validity and reliability were confirmed by different psychometric methods. Collected data were confirmatory factor analysis. Fitness indices in this study were IFI=. 88، NNFI=. 95، NFI=. 91، RMR=. 52، AGFA=070، GFI=070، RMSEA=. 66، AND CFI=089. these findings confirmed that structure of the questionnaire has an acceptable fitness and consistencies. In addition، results of convergent and concurrent reliability (correlation between questionnaire subscale and students grade point average in first semester of 1389-1390 academic year) showed that the questionnaire had an acceptable validity and it is a valid and reliable instrument to measure students learning styles in Iranian population.
