Prediction of social capital upon emotional intelligence factors

Abstract:
The aim of the present research was to prediction student’s social capital upon their emotional intelligence factors. The research sample consisted of 400 students were selected by multilevel sampling from 11 reign Islamic Azad university. Syberia-shring emotional intelligence and Social capital questionnaire was used. Results of data regression analyses showed that: Emotional intelligence factors (Self-motivation, Self-awareness, Self-control, Social-consciousness, Social-skill), can predict social capital factors (General confidence, formal-civil participation, religious participation, role of contract sealing, friendly-neighborhood relationship, friendly-family relationship and organize confidence). Emotional intelligence predicted changes of social capital factors significantly. multiple regression stepwise analyses showed that among emotional intelligence factors, four of them (Social-skill, Social-consciousness, Self-motivation and Self-awareness) are enable to explanation social capital factors significantly. In general result shwed that among the emotional intelligence factors, Social-skill factor make enable to explanation social capital changes.
