Application of fuzzy theory in analysis of slides considering the iandslide of Mohammad Abad- Jiroft

In the present paper, fuzzy theory is used for the analysis of landslides and the state of Mohammad Abad landslide, located in Jiroft- Kerman road, is investigated using this method. Shear strength parameters, unit weight and piezometric level which have uncertainty are selected as variables and the statistic distribution of these parameters are obtained using best fit software. Also, using the limit equilibrium method, sensivity analysis is done the shear strength parameters with respect to the safety factor. Finally, the parameters are chosen as the fuzzy set and the stability analysis is done based on the limit equilibrium method. Results show that, since the fuzzy set considers a range of safety factors, stability analysis is done with more certainty and also, as the results show, the considered landslide is unstable.
