Study of the role of Basij in confronting cultural invasion among Tehran s Youths

It was tried in the present inquiry to evaluate function of cultural activities of Basij in confronting with West cultural invasion by studying three factors of values, attitudes and norms. Hence, below hypothesis were defined and investigated;
1- Basij cultural activities can reinforce youth’s values.
2- Basij cultural activities can strengthen youth’s norms.
3- Basij cultural activities can fortify youth’s attitudes.
Type of the research is based on an applied goal. For this purpose Descriptive Survey Method (DSM) was used. Statistical society including 356 of 4980 young Basiji boys and girls who attended in activities of sites of Basij in 6th district of Tehran, were selected. This model size has been chosen randomly based on Chokeman formula by visiting Basij sites of mentioned district.
Essential data for examining hypothesis was collected by closed questionnaire and its credit was defined about 96% by applying Cronbach’s Alfa test in SPSS.
By descriptive statics and inferential methods obtained data from statistical sample were analysed, and for analysing information SPSS software was used.
In order to examine the hypothesis mostly applied t-test method and internal variance analysis.
Final results indicated that Basij activities was NOT affective on change of youth’s values but could influence effectively on change of their norms and attitudes
