Abstract:
Objectives
The main goal of the present research is to have a comparative analysis of criteria, ultimate achievements and major principles in pedagogical planning and teaching methods in Islamic training system and liberalism.
Method
The method of the survey is analyses- descriptive.
Results
The results of the study indicate that the ultimate aim of the training in Islamic system is human perfection and propinquity to god and the ultimate aim of the training in liberalism is to prepare the man for his individual life and membership in society and citizenship. the fundamental principles in Islamic training philosophy included: direct relationship between man and god, general equality, individual responsibility, ratiocination and contemplation, accordance between religion and this world, the necessity of progress and development, inner aspects of human being, freedom,. The fundamental principles in liberalism included: individualism, humanism, secularism, human rationality, equality of dignity (prestige) and respect (inviolability), development and freedom. Criteria and principles in pedagogical planning and teaching methods in Islamic training system are as follow: the content of pedagogical planning are guidance toward healthy life and creates curiosity and pleasure in students. It also trains the students to fulfill the ultimate goals of educational programs and strengthening believes and purification of the soul and encourages the students to think and pay more attention to rationality.
Conclusion
The ultimate goal of Islamic training system is leading the human being to perfection and plenitude while the aim in liberal system is successes in life. Islamic training system insists on the direct relation between god and man while liberalism considers man apart from god.
