Message:
Abstract:
Introduction
Ectopic pregnancy is a phenomenon that occurs in 1% of total pregnancies and molar pregnancies are also reported in 1-2 out of 1000 pregnancies. It is too rare that these two events happen simultaneously. In this case report، we introduce a case of molar ectopic pregnancy in fallopian tube. Case report: The patient was a 32 years old nulliparous woman who had primary infertility for five years. She has been under infertility treatment with the diagnosis of polycystic ovarian syndrome. She has not received any medication in few months ago. After a retard of 15 days in her menstrual cycle، she referred to the clinic with a test of βHCG=1400 and complained of hypogastric pain and spotting. Ultra sonography of the uterus and the appendices was normal. The patient had been under supervision with the possibility of ectopic pregnancy and 10 days later، she underwent laparotomy and salpingectomy. The result of pathology was partial mole in tube. βHCG has reached normal after 35 days and has remained normal during one year follow up.
