Abstract:
Translations of the Holy Quran in Persian Language that have remained from the early centuries of Islam and the following centuries are the sign of Iranian faith to Islam and to the Heavenly Book, the Glorious Quran and the conviction to Persian language. This study has comparatively tried to investigate two early Translations of the Holy Quran with two dialects from linguistic and morphological point of view. The first is Quran-e-Ghods with Sistani Dialect and the second Translation is Quran-e- Pak with Khorasani Dialect. In terms of diction and terminology, there are common grounds between the two translations, since Dari language is the basis for both translations. But in some cases, some traces of special dialect of the area is encountered. 73 verses of Baqara chapter translated in Pak and 86 verses of the same chapter from Ghods translation are analyzed. The results reveal that special obsolete dialect terms are equal in both translations, but they are not similar. In Ghods version there are 40 terms and other obsolete terms are about 113. They are transferred after the phonemic variation.
